HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY?
First things first, Welcome to my blog "Plain & Simple w/Melissa! I pray this blog is of great inspiration to all that come in contact with its contents... INDEPENDENCE DAY (for whom), HOME OF THE FREE (for whom), UNITED WE STAND (for whom) EQUALITY (for whom) ONE NATION UNDER GOD (which god) and all the other hype based on the US of A - well, let me keep it Plain and Simply, and keep in mind this is just merely my take on the situation. I'm very grateful to God for this Country and for allowing me to be a citizen of it but to keep it bluntly, man destroyed Gods idea and purpose for America before it even had a chance to be any of the above named. When there's true independence and freedom it applies to ALL and not just a group of people, a race or gender. Me being an African American female, sadly to say but it's hard for me to celebrate a Country that see my race as a "LIABILITY" rather than a equal person! A Country that keeps its feet on t
